Buy Digital Playstation Vita Otome Before the Store Disappears Forever [UPDATE!]

Digital unfortunately doesn’t mean forever as Sony confirms their plans to close some digital stores

Update (April 19th): Sony has now walked back their decision to close the PS Vita and PS3 stores! Yay!

Update to article: As of March 29th, Sony has officially made this announcement located here: https://www.playstation.com/en-us/support/important-notice/ The following information is still correct and I would still hold off buying anything until the last week incase they have a sale.

If you have a Playstation Vita and have been putting off buying otome games for whatever reason, you have until August 27th to make your purchases.

According to a source for TheGamer, Sony will announce at the end of the month that it plans to shut down old console digital stores for the PS3, PS Vita, and PlayStation Portable. You will have until July 2 to make purchases on the PS3 and PSP stores. After these dates, digital copies of games or DLC will no longer be available to purchase for your consoles.

Please note, currently, there are no discounts on these games. I would probably hold off on buying them until August just to make sure they will not go on sale in the meantime.

Some of these do have Nintendo Switch or PC releases (Code: Realize, Collar X Malice, Hakuouki, London Detective Mysteria, Psychedelicas, 7’scarlet), some of these will cease to be unless they are given new life on a new platform.
