Create
To create a new sword, you will need to use your materials and a request token. You can get request tokens through fulfilling Expeditions, Quests, and the Front Lines.
Using an Ofuda can increase your chances of obtaining a rare sword, but it is NOT guaranteed. You can get Ofuda through certain Expeditions or purchase them from the Store.
You may also skip the smithing time by using a help token.
Recipes
Recipes are well known but are still not a guarantee that you will get the sword type you are wanting. However, using these recipes can increase your chances of getting a certain sword type. Either way, the sword you will obtain will be random (this is the game’s version of gacha after all), so keep your expectation of getting the sword type you want low.
Tantou
Note: Tantous are the easiest to obtain sword in the game and you will be swimming in them.
Basic recipe: 50/50/50/50
Forge Time: 20:00-30:00
Wakizashi
Basic recipe: 100/400/100/100
Forge Time: 40:00
Uchigatana
Note: There are two types of Uchigatana, Rarity 2 and Rarity 3
Basic recipe: 350/510/350/350
Forge Time: 1:30:00-3:00:00
Tachi
Note: Despite having a well tested basic recipe, the odds of you getting a Uchigatana while trying to smith a Tachi are high as they have the same recipe.
Basic recipe: 350/510/350/350
Forge Time: 3:00:00-4:00:00
Ootachi
Basic recipe: 530/600/600/550
Forge Time: 2:30:00-3:00:00
Yari
Note: Despite having a well tested basic recipe, the odds of you getting a Tantou while trying to smith a Yari are high.
Basic recipe: 500/50/500/500
Forge Time: 3:00:00
Naginata
Basic recipe: 600/500/700/700
Forge Time: 5:00:00
Dismantle
If you have extra swords that you do not want and do not want to use to refine another sword, you can dismantle them to regain a small amount of materials based on whichever sword you are dismantling. The least amount of materials you will get are 0 and the most you will get is 12.
Due to the very small amount of materials you will get, using your extras swords to Refine them is an over all better use of extra swords.
