NTT Solmare, publishers of the “Shall We Date” series, has announced that paid app “Sengoku Darling” will be discontinued and no longer playable on March 25, 2019, two days after the app’s second anniversary.
Sengoku Darling was released by NTT Solmare on March 23, 2017. It’s original title “いざ、出陣！恋戦 第二幕” (Iza, Shutsujin! Koi Ikusa Dai Ni Maku), was developed GignoSystem Japan and release on the PSP and iOS in 2014 by Asgard.
The game is voiced by some of today’s most well known voice actors such as Shimazaki Nobunaga, Maeno Tomoaki, Morikubo Shoutarou, Kimura Ryouhei and Kenshou Ono, to name a few.
The version that Shall We Date released had the voices removed, though I am not sure if this was due to licensing or, since it was probably an English version of the iOS app, if that is just how the iOS version was.
As of this writing, the only notice of the app being discontinued is in the app only. There is no official announcement on their website nor on their active facebook page. It reads as follows
Thank you for your continued support and patronage of Sengoku Darling. At this time, we regret to inform you that we will be terminating service of Sengoku Darling on the below dates
